FRAMES in Ireland

Wednesday, June 24, 2009

The Alliances Françaises of Ireland held their education meeting on June 12 and 13 in Dublin.

Were in attendance, with 50 participants, the Alliance Françaises centers of Cork, Dublin, Enniscorthy, Galway, Kilkenny, Limerick, Waterford and Wexford.

With 6,000 learners of French, the Irish network is led by Claire Bourgeois, ex-Course Director at the FIAF in New York, Delegate General for Ireland and Director of the Alliance Française de Dublin, whose language center ranks 3rd in Europe, to Paris and Bruxelles.

With the support of the Fondation Alliance Française in Paris, the General Delegation USA participated in the 2-day training seminar and presented FRAMES. This initiative will result in the implementation of the project in the Irish network, notably online placement test and the Passeport pour le français.
